2006 UK Bus Awards
Safer Travel was commended for the second consecutive year at the UK Bus Awards. Our commendation was for the 2005 Safer Travel Annual Review. |

2006 Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport Awards
Safer Travel won the 'Safety' award for the 2005 Annual Review document which highlights all the success during that year. HRH The Princess Royal presented the award in London. |

2005 UK Bus Awards
Safer Travel was highly commended at the UK Bus Awards in the 'Award for Social Responsibility' category. This was for work on CCTV and with schools. |

2003 M&S Community Safety Awards
The partnership was awarded a "Highly Commended" Community Safety Certificate at the 2003 Marks & Spencer Community Safety Awards. Our entry was the "SMART Schools Project" |

2003 West Midlands Police “Blue Lamp Award"
Local Police in Coventry awarded staff at Travel Coventry the “Blue Lamp Award” in 2003 for their pro-active stance on deterring and detecting crime on the Travel Coventry bus network. |

2001, 2002 Bus Industry Awards
Safer Travel was recognised by the Bus Industry Awards in 2001/02 and has won commendations in each of these two years. |

2001 Community Safety Award
The Princess Royal, Princess Anne presented the partnership
with this prestigious award in 2001. These awards were set up
by Crime Concern and sponsored by Norwich Union. |
